Pricing

Two plans. Every price on one page.

Pick the plan, add what your shop needs, and see the whole bill before you call — nothing here is “contact us for a quote.”

Billing

Showing monthly billing. The annual figures are in the table below the cards.

Foundation
$250/month
$2,550/year, paid upfront

+ $250 one-time setup, charged with your first invoice · first payment $500

+ $250 one-time setup, never discounted · total payable $2,800

Or $2,550 for the year, paid upfront — saves $450.

15% off the subscription — saves $450 against monthly billing. Works out to $212.50 a month.

Look professional. Get found.
  • A professional website on your own domain — built for your trade, written for your shop — with hosting, security updates and backups included
  • Your Google Business Profile, claimed, built out properly and kept current
  • Business email at your own domain (Google Workspace) — you@yourshop.com, not a Gmail. One mailbox, opened in your name and set up for you; Google bills you for it. More mailboxes are Google’s published per‑seat rate, and we’ll set them up at no charge from us.
  • Local SEO, defined: the initial build (categories, services, citations, on-page basics), then monthly upkeep — profile posts and photos, review monitoring, hours and holiday updates, a check of your listings
  • One standard site update a month — a price, a photo swap, new hours, a paragraph. Not a redesign.
  • No texting on Foundation. Automated texts, review requests and the CRM live in Growth.
The fuller system
Growth
$500/month
$5,100/year, paid upfront

+ $500 one-time setup, charged with your first invoice · first payment $1,000

+ $500 one-time setup, never discounted · total payable $5,600

Or $5,100 for the year, paid upfront — saves $900.

15% off the subscription — saves $900 against monthly billing. Works out to $425 a month.

Get booked, get reviewed, get paid, get organized.

The fit if booking and follow-up matter.

  • Everything in Foundation, plus:
  • A professional booking site synced to your Google Calendar — customers book themselves, day or night
  • A CRM — appointments, invoicing and lead follow‑up in one place
  • Automated texts and emails — the thank‑you, the reminder, the follow‑up — and automated Google review requests
  • Payments & Deposits included — card on file, deposits at booking, invoices paid by link, online or in‑store
  • Expense tracking in the CRM, and a monthly report — what came in, what went out, who’s due back
  • A connection to your accounting software — QuickBooks and others — so invoices and payments arrive there already sorted
  • Prepay the year and the Quarterly Sit‑Down is included at no charge.

Growth’s automated texting includes 1,000 text segments a month; past that it’s 5¢ a segment, itemized on the next bill.

What the year costs, side by side.

Monthly or prepaid, with the setup fee shown separately so nothing is hidden inside a total.

Plan costs, USD
Plan Monthly One‑time setup First payment First year, billed monthly Year prepaid
(subscription only)
Year prepaid
+ setup
Foundation $250$250$500$3,250$2,550$2,800
Growth $500$500$1,000$6,500$5,100$5,600

Annual prepayment takes 15% off the subscription only — never the setup fee — so it saves $450 on Foundation and $900 on Growth. Every figure on this page excludes usage past the included allowances, add‑ons, sales tax if any applies, and third‑party charges — your payment processor’s fees and any Google Ads spend are billed by those companies directly, not by Knox.

The agreement

How the agreement works, in plain words.

Everything is in writing before anything starts: what’s being built, what it costs, when it launches, and how either of us walks away. Ask and we’ll send the agreement before you even book the call.

Twelve months.

Both plans are a 12‑month agreement. Moving from Foundation to Growth mid‑term isn’t a rebuild — it’s the same system with more of it switched on.

The first invoice.

The setup fee is charged with your first invoice, alongside the first month: $500 on Foundation, $1,000 on Growth. On an annual plan the first invoice is the setup fee plus the prepaid year: $2,800 or $5,600.

Billing day and a locked price.

Monthly plans bill on the 1st of each month. Your price is locked for the twelve months; it doesn’t move mid‑term.

Month 13.

After the term the plan continues month to month at the same price, unless you and Jeff agree otherwise in writing. It does not renew for another year, and ending it works exactly the way it does during the term — the next card is the whole rule.

Leaving, at any point.

One rule, and it never changes: tell us in writing, pay the current month plus one more, and that is the end of it. During the term or after it, monthly or annual — the same. No collections, no hostage‑taking.

On an annual plan you have already paid the year, so the rest comes back: we refund the prepaid subscription beyond that final month within 30 days. The setup fee, and any one‑time service already delivered, are not refundable.

Add-ons.

Recurring add‑ons are month to month and carry no setup fee. One‑time services are billed once, on your next invoice. The full rules are under the catalog below.

What’s yours, item by item.

  • Your domain. Registered in your name, or transferred to you if you already have one. It stays yours whatever happens.
  • Your Google Business Profile. It lives in your own Google account — Knox never owns it and never holds it. Knox is added as a manager to do the work, and removed within five business days of you asking, in writing or over the phone.
  • Your customer data. Names, numbers, history and consent records are yours — exportable on request, in a standard format.
  • Your website. The site is yours to take. Within ten business days of the plan ending we hand you a static export — the pages as they last published, with the HTML, styles, images and fonts — once, at no charge, ready to host anywhere. What stops working are the parts that were subscription software: the forms, the booking and anything that talked to the CRM.
  • Hosting. Included while you’re on a plan; it ends when the plan ends, which is what the export is for.
  • The CRM, booking and automations. Subscription software that runs while you’re on a plan and stops when it ends. You keep the data; you don’t take the machinery.
  • Third‑party accounts. Google Workspace and your payment processor are opened in your name, in your own accounts, on their terms — and they bill you directly. Workspace starts at one mailbox; extra seats are Google’s charge, not ours.
Add‑ons

Add what your shop needs, when it needs it.

Both plans can take extras. Each one wires into the same system that already runs your business, and every minimum is printed here, not discovered on the bill.

01The phoneAnswered any hour, by the automated line.

Automated Phone Answering
$100/month

When you can’t pick up — mid‑haircut, nine at night, Sunday morning — the automated line answers, takes the message, records the call and files a transcript in your CRM for your reply. It runs around the clock; it doesn’t replace a conversation with you.

Includes 100 answered calls a month; $1 per additional call. Callers hear a recording notice at the start of every call — Illinois requires everyone on the line to be told.

Add to any plan →
Missed‑Call Text‑Back
$50/month

Any call you don’t answer gets a text within seconds — “Sorry we missed you. Book here, or reply and we’ll call you back” — and the caller lands in your CRM as a lead instead of in your competitor’s chair.

Month to month. Stands alone, or pairs with the phone line for the calls that need a voice.

Phone answering and review replies together: $180 a month, instead of $200.

02Getting found and getting chosenWhat Google shows, and what people decide when they see it.

Automated Google Review Replies
$100/month

Every review your business receives gets a considered reply, in your voice, with the service and the town in it. Customers see a shop that answers. Replies only — the review requests come with Growth.

One‑ and two‑star replies are held for your approval before they post. Everything else goes out promptly.

Add to any plan →
Reputation Rescue
$300 one‑time

For a profile that’s been neglected or has a bad month sitting at the top. Every existing review answered, good and bad; ninety days of steady replies; and on Growth, the review‑request flow switched on. More reviews, answered.

No rating guarantee, and never a fake review. It’s an add‑on on either plan, never folded into Foundation. On Foundation, Rescue covers the replies; review requests need Growth.

Rescue my listing →
Neighborhood Landing Pages
$40/month per town

A page written for each town you serve — “barber in Lombard”, “brake repair in Carol Stream” — written for the town, not copied and renamed, so the next town over has a reason to find you.

Three‑town minimum: $120 a month to start, then $40 for each town after that. Rankings can’t be promised by anyone; the writing can.

Add to any plan →
Google Ads Starter
$150/month management

One Search campaign, your trade in your towns, built and run for you — for the months you need the phone ringing before the search work catches up. You see every dollar.

Ad spend is separate and paid to Google directly, $300 a month minimum — so $450 a month combined to start. The ad account is yours. No results guarantee.

Start a campaign →
Photo Day
$350 one‑time

Half a day at your shop. About forty edited photographs of the space, the team and the work, loaded to your site and your Google profile. It fixes the weakest thing on most local listings: no photos, or the wrong ones.

The photographs are yours to keep and use anywhere. Billed once, on your next invoice.

Book a photo day →

03Keeping the customers you haveThe second visit costs less than the first one ever did.

A Monthly Customer Message
$75/month

One send a month to your customer list — the special, the seasonal reminder, “book before the holidays” — written and sent by Knox, from your address, by email, text or both.

Only to contacts with recorded consent. Every send carries an unsubscribe link or STOP.

Add to any plan →
Payments & Deposits
$60/month on Foundation

Card on file, a deposit when they book, invoices paid by link. A deposit reduces no‑shows, and the money is in your account before the customer is in the chair.

Included in Growth. Processor fees are the processor’s, billed by them at their published rates.

Add to Foundation →
Spanish Edition
$150 once + $25/month

The whole site, the booking page and the follow‑up texts in Spanish alongside English — the taquería in the Vault is built this way.

$150 one‑time, then $25 a month. You review the translation before it goes live. The call itself is in English.

Build it bilingual →

04The extrasMore hands, more often, on your terms.

Extra Updates
$60/month for two, or $40 a change

Two more standard changes a month on top of the one included — menus that move with the season, prices that change, a new hire on the team page. Done within the week, same as always.

The monthly pair is month to month. A single change is billed once, on your next invoice.

Add to any plan →
The Quarterly Sit‑Down
$60/month

Sixty minutes at your shop, every quarter. The report on the table, what worked, what didn’t, what to change next — the meeting most owners never get from the people who run their website.

Works out to $180 per meeting. Included at no charge with Growth on annual prepayment.

Other Custom Work
Quoted in writing

Tell us what’s hardest about running your business — where the hours go, what keeps slipping — and we’ll design and build a solution around it, bolted onto the same system that runs everything else.

Plainly priced and in writing first. Nothing is billed until you’ve said yes to the number.

How add‑ons are billed.

  • Recurring add‑ons are month to month. Add or drop one and it takes effect on the next 1st‑of‑the‑month bill.
  • Recurring add‑ons carry no setup fee. One‑time services — Reputation Rescue, Photo Day, a single extra update, and the Spanish Edition’s $150 setup — are billed once, on your next invoice, and aren’t refundable once delivered.
  • Annual plans: recurring add‑ons prepaid with the plan get the same 15% off. One‑time items never do.
  • Included usage is tied to the service it belongs to. Growth’s automated texting includes 1,000 text segments a month; the phone add‑on includes 100 answered calls a month. Anything past an allowance is itemized on the following bill. Foundation includes no texts or calls, because it has no texting or answering to use them on.
Straight answers

The questions owners ask about the bill.

What counts as a “standard site update”?

One change you can describe in a sentence: a price, new hours, a photo swap, a paragraph rewritten, a team member added, a holiday notice. Ask, and it’s done within the week. A new page, a new section or a redesign is different work — quoted in writing, or covered by the Extra Updates add‑on when it’s several small changes.

What happens at month 13?

Nothing dramatic. After the twelve months the plan continues month to month at the same price, unless you and Jeff agree otherwise in writing. It does not lock you into another year, and ending it works exactly as it did during the term: written notice, the current month plus one more.

What if I need to leave?

Tell us in writing, pay the current month plus one more, and that’s the end of it. The same rule holds whether you’re three months in or three years in, on monthly billing or annual — and the domain, the Google profile and your customer data leave with you, along with a static export of the site.

If you prepaid the year, the part you haven’t used comes back: we refund the prepaid subscription beyond that final month within 30 days. The setup fee and any one‑time service already delivered aren’t refundable.

How does annual prepayment work?

You pay the year’s subscription upfront and take 15% off it: $2,550 for Foundation, $5,100 for Growth. The setup fee is separate and is never discounted, so the first invoice is $2,800 or $5,600. Recurring add‑ons prepaid with the plan get the same 15% off; one‑time items don’t.

Are there taxes or other charges on top?

The prices on this page are Knox’s prices. If a sales tax applies to any part of the service, it’s added at the current rate and shown on the invoice. Third parties bill their own charges directly: your payment processor’s per‑transaction fees, and Google for any ad spend.

If I go past an included allowance, when do I see it?

On the next bill, itemized. Growth includes 1,000 text segments a month for its automated texting; past that it’s 5¢ a segment. The phone add‑on includes 100 answered calls a month; past that it’s $1 a call. Nothing is charged mid‑month and nothing is rounded up.

What do I actually own if we part ways?

Your domain, registered in your name. Your Google Business Profile, in your own Google account — Knox is only a manager on it, and comes off within five business days of you asking. Your customer data, exportable on request. And your website: within ten business days of the plan ending you get a static export — the pages as they last published, with the HTML, styles, images and fonts — once, at no charge, ready to host anywhere. The CRM, the booking system and the automations are subscription software; they run while you’re on a plan and stop when it ends, so the forms and booking on the exported pages go quiet. Your Google Workspace and payment‑processor accounts are your own and bill you directly.

Can I start on Foundation and move up to Growth later?

Yes, any time, and it isn’t a rebuild. Growth is the same system with more of it switched on — the booking site, the CRM, the automated messages, the payments. Nothing you paid for is thrown away, and Jeff puts the change in writing before it happens.
